The long awaited debut album from CH.I.P entitled Challenger In Pieces is finally finished. After years of experimentation, the band constructed an environment themselves, put a mature musical showcase together all looking forward to reach the international market.
Bence Balázs, Gergő Dolezsai and András Bodrogi turned the 80s and 90s pop and dance music fusion into catchy tunes with brave orchestrations. 13 + 1 instictive recordings, a great voice, melodies with utter acoustic melancholy and sizzling electronica.

Brief history
2000
The first actual recording of the band “Sufferchild” was chosen to find its way to Budapest 2000, a compilation album to introduce Hungary's next big musical exports (Yonderboi, Marcel).
Nimród Antal, a young director who won The Cannes Youth Award in 2004, shot a great docu-type video for the song in 1999. Unfortunately, most of the Hungarian music television networks refused to play the video because its content. The original version was first presented at 2002s Titanic Film Festival, among the most acclaimed works of Nimród.
2001
Bence and András joins Freshfabrik, a hun-goth-synth-metal outfit as session programmers and keyboard players for nearly a year and a half of touring Hungary and Europe, supporting even AC/DC in Prague in front of a 35,000 crowd.
2003
CH.I.P covers "Personal Jesus" from DM, this rework appears on “A Tribute to Depeche Mode - Thank You Too” a compilation by Private Moon Records
06.2003
Another song from the band called “Solitaire”, gets to a compilation album - it appears on Island Festival's compilation - Placcc!
30.06.2004.
The studio sessions are over, and the debut album from CH.I.P entitled Challenger in Pieces is finished.
26.09.2005.
This day the CLS Records station and the CH.I.P crew launches the Debut Album into FarFar Outer Spaces.
So far the band had very positive feedback on their musical activities. CH.I.P performs live gigs with two new members (András Mihály / drums and Krisztián Tóth / guitars) and supports Simply Red in the Budapest Arena on the 2nd of December.

Solitaire - the most succesful song of CH.I.P - is released on a compilation album Rádió Café Instant Vol. 2.
31.12.2005.
Challenger In Pieces is voted "The album of the year" by the listeners of Radió Café and Solitaire is landing on the 2nd position on the TOP 100 chart.
21.01.2006.
CH.I.P is nominated for "The best newcomer" award by the Hungarian Association of Record Companies.
