Her music is a mixture of Arabian sounds with soulful influences from her personal favourites such as Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill and Aretha Franklin
Her participation in Dutch talent shows such as Idols, de Grote Prijs van Nederland and more recently The Voice Of Holland were unsuccessful. In the show's second season she was coached by VanVelzen but she was eliminated in the battle round in favor of Puck Cyson.
Her Dutch success seems to have been limited to the underground Urban scene of FunX radio, but her major success in Morocco gives her a unique story.
Give It All Up

From yourself
And I'm not the one to
Nurse you back to health
I wasn't there when you needed me
Now I am waiting for you down here in
In your own Hell
In your Hell
Like ammo, cos I gave up too quickly
There's no denying that your time is shallow
So you'll never forgive me
Give it up, give it up, give it up
I'm so angry
Why is it so damn tough to
Tell me how you feel?
And why was it not enough
To know that we were real?
You cannot breathe
Wouldn't try or tell me why
Now all I've left you with is my
Is my betrayal
My betrayal
So you can throw your words in my face
Like ammo, cos I gave up too quickly
There's no denying that your time is shallow
So you'll never forgive me
Give it up, give it up, give it up
I'm so sorry
So sorry
You threw me to the ground, you know?
Scrambling for light in the dark
I was only ever trying to help, you know?
But you wouldn't reciprocate
All the efforts I made, all the efforts I made
All the efforts I made, it's too late
It's too late, it's too late, it's too late
It's too late, it's too late, it's too late
It's too late now
So you can throw your words in my face
Like ammo, cos I gave up too quickly
There's no denying that your time is shallow
So you'll never forgive me
Give it up, give it up, give it up
You're so lonely
(It's too late, it's too late
It's too late, it's too late now)
So lonely
(It's too late, it's too late
It's too late, it's too late now)
In the song "Give It All Up" by Chahra-Z, the lyrics depict a relationship that has soured and become toxic. The singer refuses to continue to enable their partner's destructive behavior and refuses to be the one to save them from themselves. The lines "I'm not the one who'll save you from yourself / And I'm not the one to nurse you back to health" demonstrate the feeling of being used and the exhaustion of constantly trying to help someone who doesn't reciprocate or appreciate it.
The singer acknowledges their own fault in the relationship, admitting that they "gave up too quickly" and "betrayed" their partner. However, they also express frustration with their partner's inability to communicate and their unwillingness to try to salvage the relationship. The line "Why is it so damn tough to tell me how you feel? / And why was it not enough to know that we were real?" demonstrates the desire for open communication and the confusion and pain that comes with a lack of it.
The final lines of the song, "You're so lonely / It's too late now," show the singer's understanding that the relationship is over and that their partner will likely never forgive them for their mistakes. The repetition of "it's too late" emphasizes the finality of the situation and the inability to turn back time and make things right.
