Every time I doubt my assignment, every time I look down on myself, every time I think I'm not capable of doing what God called me to do, I hear this song play in my spirit and it reminds me each time that God chose me and equipped with all that I need to succeed and he is with me throughout the journey. This statement was told to me many times before, so much so that I began to resent it. I felt like because people knew I could take it, they took advantage of my strength. Always being the rock that someone could come to but never having that person for myself. To show a vulnerable moment would be met with mixed or critical response. So began to bottle it all up, try to hold the weight of the world on my shoulders, until I got tired, and I didn't want it anymore. I wanted Jesus! BUT I didn't want his people anymore. Until he showed me I didn't have to, my shoulders weren't strong enough, I wasn't supposed to hold everything I had to give it to him and find someone that I could do life and ministry with. You may be strong but you're not alone.

Thank you, God and thank you, Chandler. I've never needed a song like this as much as I need it now. It's hard sometimes to be what God calls you to be. I often feel like a clumsy child that has trouble following and growing.

But I have been called to step up, so I do, even on trembling legs.

Anybody knows what it is to be a young worship leader? Or young at any important position, while dealing with insecurities and triggers? Somebody??? Yeah.
