The band is known for Chandril's satirical, colloquial lyrics, full of references to current affairs and cultural phenomena. They also sing other types of song, written by Anindyo.
They are well known in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai and have recently started touring internationally including a performance in aid of the Kolkata based Child In Need Institute (CINI) in London.

The song "Conductor" by Chandrabindoo is a satirical take on the celebrity culture in India, where people are obsessed with famous people and their lives. In the song, the conductor of the bus is waiting for a beautiful woman to board the bus, hoping she will give him an autograph. Meanwhile, children who are waiting for the bus are excited and would try to get her autograph too. The conductor mentions that old-timer Spilberg visited their town, and the only important person now is the guru. He feels that his challenging role is like the dinosaur park, and he does not want anyone to play God in his life.
