For those saying he’s faking his voice, he’s NOT. He was voice trained for like 2+ years and he studied Elvis as well. He can’t just drop the accent immediately after filming lol. It’s gonna take some time for his real voice to come back

I don't think Austin Butler is faking his voice at all. His voice was very similar to Elvis and that's why Baz Luhrmann chose him. People are saying Austin doesn't sound the same from his early career. Of course, not he's getting older. Hello!! 🙄 Young Marlon Brando did not sound the same as old Marlon Brando. Compare Elvis and Priscilla Presley's voices from videos on YouTube when they were younger and how their voices sounded at the end. So different. At this point skeptics are splitting hairs trying to discredit this young actor. He's amazing.

They finished filming this movie over a year ago. He’s had plenty of time. We don’t see other people run into this for other roles on talk shows 🤔 I think he’s being young & leanin into it

It’s similar to Alec Baldwin when he did his Trump impression….idk how long it took for him to learn Trump’s voice and practice it….but he got it pretty good, and when he finished playing Trump, apparently it was hard for him to get out of Trump’s voice and do his own voice.

Austin WAS Elvis for that time on film. He was brilliant. Had the moves, the energy, the vulnerability, the spirit, and more. He also did many of the vocals. He deserves the Oscar!
