Paradise

She expected the world,
But it flew away from her reach,
So she ran away in her sleep.
Dreamed of para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
When she was just a girl,
She expected the world,
But it flew away from her reach,
And bullets catch in her teeth.
Life goes on,
It gets so heavy,
The wheel breaks the butterfly.
Every tear, a waterfall.
In the night, the stormy night,
She closed her eyes.
In the night,
The stormy night,
Away she flied.
I dream of para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
She dreamed of para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Para-para-paradise,
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
La-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
Still lying underneath the stormy skies.
She said oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
I know the sun′s set to rise.
This could be
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
This could be
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
This could be
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh.
Paradise
Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh...
The lyrics of Charlie Chan's song Paradise seems to be about a young girl who had high hopes and aspirations but was unable to achieve them. She had big expectations that she couldn't reach, and as a result, she escaped her reality by fleeing to a dreamland, a paradise that only existed in her imagination. The lyrics show that life became difficult for her, it was like she was trying to catch bullets with her teeth, but she couldn't, and she felt weighed down. However, she refused to lose hope and kept dreaming of this perfect paradise. The lyrics convey a strong sense of longing for something that seems unattainable, a paradise that could make everything right.
Later in the song, there's a sense of hope that although the storm rages on, this could still be paradise, and the sun is set to rise. The song seems to be about the struggles of life, holding onto hope and finding a way to escape from the harsh realities of life. It's a reminder that paradise can exist in our minds, and it's up to us to choose to strive for it, no matter how difficult things may seem.
