And I believe in you, beautiful woman
And you are like a breath of spring
Warm like the summer rain, beautiful woman
Every breath I take
Every move that I make
I'm reaching out
Just to get a little closer
Just a little bit closer
Move a little closer, baby
Closer, closer
You, you are my dream come true
And I believe in you, beautiful woman
Every breath I take
Every move I make
I'm reaching out
(Reaching out, reaching out)
Just to get a little closer
Just a little bit closer
Move a little closer, baby
Closer, closer to you
You are my dream come true
And I believe in you, beautiful woman
And you are like a breath of spring
Warm like summer rain, beautiful woman
The song "Beautiful Woman" by Charlie Rich is a beautiful ode to a woman whom the singer adores. The lyrics describe the woman as a "dream come true" and emphasize the belief and trust the singer has in her. The woman is compared to a breath of spring and warm like summer rain - both symbols of rejuvenation and comfort. The way the singer croons "beautiful woman" repeatedly is a testament to his love and admiration for the woman in question.
The chorus, "Every breath I take, every move that I make, I'm reaching out" is a powerful expression of the singer's yearning to be closer to the woman. The repetition of the phrase "reaching out" fuels this desire, making it clear that the singer is willing to do whatever it takes to be close to her. The song has a very positive and upbeat feel, making it a perfect compliment to the overall theme - an appreciation of the woman's beauty and her presence in the singer's life.
