2) The shortlived Atlanta based grind outfit Charmer unleashes sheer visceral madness. Trimming down to merely a vocalist, guitarist, and drummer, their sole release has been a self-titled 7" (of which only 150 were pressed and all were sold on Charmer's most recent tour). Due to the damage caused by their furious live shows, the members have done a helluva job keeping their identities more or less a secret, having been known to perform adorned in gas masks and under many different aliases.
Since the band's break-up, guitarist "Emmerson Longfellow" and vocalist "Pelham Winchester" began writing under the guies of End Life (http://myspace.com/endfuckinglife).

All protecting their yards
From passing cars
And harmless pedestrians
These busy streets
Where there used to be nothing
Resembling
And there's no way
Out of this mess
And there's no way
Out of this mess no
So sweet to learn to let go
So sweet to defenestrate
So sweet to learn to let go
Watch your wicked heart fall from the window
In Charmer's song "Just Like Jezebel," the lyrics depict a scene in a society where people are fiercely protective of their territory, even from harmless passersby. The "city full of barking dogs" symbolizes the aggressive and territorial nature of humans in this society. The lines "And there's no way out of this mess" and the repetition of it emphasize that there seems to be no escape from this hostile and guarded environment, no matter how much one tries.
However, amidst this chaos, the chorus of the song brings in hope and liberation. The lines "So sweet to learn to let go, So sweet to defenestrate" signify the pleasure in freeing oneself from the shackles of societal norms and expectations. Defenestrate means to throw someone out of a window, and here, it is used metaphorically as a symbol of shedding away the wicked parts of oneself. The line "Watch your wicked heart fall from the window" highlights the importance of introspection and being honest about oneself.
Overall, the lyrics of "Just Like Jezebel" paint a picture of a societal mess and the importance of breaking free from it, both physically and emotionally.
