Chi Coltrane Lyrics

The last train's leavin' the station
It's so late, no conversation
A fast train to get me to you
The last train that's going through
I can't wait to get home to you
I see signs, lights flashing by
Every town that I go through
Brings me close, closer to you
l've been far away from you
It's been hard, but what could we do?
The last train to get me to you
The last train will get me to you
The last train will get me to you
The lyrics of Chi Coltrane's song The Last Train are filled with a sense of urgency and longing, as the singer cannot wait to be reunited with their loved one. The first line, "I can't wait, no hesitation," reveals the singer's eagerness to get on the last train that is leaving the station. They are in a hurry to get to their loved one and are not interested in wasting any time with conversations that might delay their journey. The urgency in the lyrics is reinforced by the repetition of the phrase "the last train," which creates a sense of finality and urgency around the journey.
The singer is on a fast-moving train that is taking them closer and closer to their loved one. They see signs and lights flashing by as they travel through each town, and each town brings them closer to their destination. The journey has not been easy, as they have been far away from their loved one. However, they are willing to go through the struggle and hardship to be reunited with them. The chorus, "The last train to get me to you, the last train will get me to you," underscores the singer's determination to reach their loved one, no matter what.
Overall, the lyrics of The Last Train are a poignant reminder of the power of love and the lengths to which we are willing to go to be with the ones we love.
