Come All Ye Faithful is a classic Christmas hymn that is sung by Christians all over the world during the holiday season. This religious hymn is a celebration of the birth of Jesus and the Nativity, and it encourages Christians to come adore the new-born king.
The first stanza of the hymn calls on all faithful believers to come to Bethlehem and behold the newborn king of angels. The second stanza repeats the call to worship, but this time in the form of a joyful proclamation that encourages all listeners to join in adoration of Christ the Lord. The phrase "triumphant" in the first line of the first stanza suggests that all believers should approach the scene of the Nativity as if they have already won the victory and are celebrating a triumph.
