They start by addressing Jesus as their Savior and asking Him to lead them to the cross, where He spilled His love for them. They acknowledge that everything they once held dear is now lost because they have found something even more valuable in Jesus. They want Him to rid them of themselves and lead them to His heart. The lyrics also focus on the sacrifice Jesus made for all humanity by living as a human, being tempted and tried, and then dying to bear their sins and death.
