[Instrumental]

Overall Meaning

As the lyrics to this song are instrumental, there are no actual words to interpret. However, one can still infer that the upbeat tempo and lively melody convey a sense of joy and excitement, similar to the feeling of indulging in a delicious treat like ice cream. The playful use of various instruments, including trumpet and clarinet, create a sense of whimsy and fun, while the steady rhythm of the drums keeps the piece moving forward with a sense of youthful energy. Overall, the song seems to encourage the listener to let loose, have some fun, and enjoy the simple pleasures in life, much like a refreshing scoop of ice cream on a hot summer day.

I first heard this beautiful melody when I was 10 years old in 1959 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I fell in love with it. Now, I am 73 and living in Chicago, listening to this beautiful melody and thinking, where did time go? I am in the twilight of my life waiting for the curtain to come down....................

Memories are great but never say never. I played this on Clarinet in my youth now I’m in my eighth year and because I can’t play the Clarinet anymore Ive just recently upgraded to a Aerophone- now I can play this song once again, oh for the magic of technology.
