I was lost
I was spiritually lost and directionless. I did not know where I was heading.

I was trapped and tied down by the things that held me back. I had no freedom or control over my own life.

The world had a hold of me
I was being controlled and influenced by the people and things around me, and it had taken over my life.

I had hardened my heart against love and compassion, and was closed off to the world around me.

I was covered in shame
I was ashamed of who I was, my mistakes, and my past. I felt unworthy and small.

When He came for me
Jesus came to rescue me, to offer me salvation and hope for a better life.

His presence was all-encompassing and all-powerful. I could not escape it or hide from it.

I couldn't run, couldn't run from His arms
His love was so strong and welcoming that I could not resist it or push it away.

And it was a fire
His love and mercy were like a burning flame that ignited my soul and filled me with renewed energy and purpose.

Deep in my soul
His love penetrated every part of my being, filling me with a deep sense of purpose and joy.

I'll never be the same
His love transformed me and changed me forever, giving me a new life and a new hope that I never knew was possible.

I stepped out of the dark
He led me out of the darkness and into the light, showing me a new way of living and loving.

And into the light
His loving arms embraced me and pulled me out of the darkness, leading me into His light and love.

When He called my name
He knew me by name, and called out to me, inviting me into a new relationship with Him.

He holds the stars and He holds my heart
Jesus is so powerful and loving that He created and sustains the entire universe, yet He also sees and loves me as an individual, holding my heart in His hands.

With healing hands that bear the scars
His love is so strong that He carries the scars of His own suffering, yet He uses His wounds to heal and restore me.

The rugged cross where He died for me
He loved me so much that He died for me on the cross, bearing the penalty for my sins and offering me salvation and eternal life.

My only hope, my everything
He is my only hope for a better life, and the source of everything good in my life.

His love is unending and always present, no matter what I do or where I go.

He is for me, He loves me
He is always on my side and is committed to my well-being and happiness, rooting for me always.

His love is so overwhelming and beyond understanding, yet He freely gives it to me, always being for me and never against me.

His love and grace are truly amazing and awe-inspiring, leaving me humbled and grateful.
