In 2008, after five solo album releases, and nine with Passion, Tomlin made the move from Texas to Atlanta to be a worship leader for Giglio’s new church, Passion City Church, with its first service being held in February of 2009. Tomlin has since released four solo worship albums, two Christmas albums, and one live album.
In 2013, Tomlin’s seventh album Burning Light debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming only the fourth album by a Christian artist to top that chart, along with Butterfly Kisses (Shades of Grace) by Bob Carlisle, You Light Up My Life by LeeAnn Rimes, both in 1997, and TobyMac's Eye On It in 2012.

WOW! I just rec'vd an AMAZING GODLY REVELATION while listening to this song! Praise God! (1st time hearing this song, and 1st time realizing this)...
When Mary spoke the words "My soul magnifies the Lord..." it was in response to Elizabeth's greeting of "And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" (Luke 1:43)
Elizabeth's question implies that she did not feel worthy receiving Mary into her home. Wow! If we think about this a bit...Mary and Elizabeth were cousins, so u would think Elizabeth would've referred to Mary by her name, but she didn't. She actually said "mother of my Lord" while humbly asking her "why is this granted me that...". So she was elevating Mary's status beyond that of a regular woman or her relative for that matter.
For Christians who have issues honoring Mary, I hope you'll find this spiritual nugget fruitful.

I just love this song. We sang as a choir from Morrison heights Baptist church at a Christmas Venue. and it is upbeat. Our Music Director played the guitar and sang. He was great!! Love this song anytime not just Christmas!
