Sovereign
Chris Tomlin Lyrics

Sovereign in the mountain air
Sovereign on the ocean floor
With me in the calm
With me in the storm
Sovereign in my greatest joy
Sovereign in my deepest cry
With me in the dark
With me at the dawn

In Your everlasting arms
All the pieces of my life
From beginning to the end
I can trust You

In Your never failing love
You work everything for good
God, whatever comes my way
I will trust You

Sovereign in the mountain air
Sovereign on the ocean floor
With me in the calm
With me in the storm
Sovereign in my greatest joy
Sovereign in my deepest cry
With me in the dark
With me at the dawn

In Your everlasting arms
All the pieces of my life
From beginning to the end
I can trust You

In Your never failing love
You work everything for good
God, whatever comes my way
I will trust You

God, whatever comes my way
I will trust you

All my hopes, all I need
Held in Your hands
All my life, all of me
Held in Your hands
All my fears, all my dreams
Held in Your hands

All my hopes, all I need
Held in Your hands
All my life, all of me
Held in Your hands
All my fears, all my dreams
Held in Your hands

In Your everlasting arms
All the pieces of my life
From beginning to the end
I can trust You

In Your never failing love
You work everything for good
God, whatever comes my way
I will trust You

God, whatever comes my way
I will trust You

God, whatever comes my way
I will trust You

I was homeless when this song was released. I hated God's sovereignty at the time. Because I didn't feel loved. I didn't feel cared for. I didn't even feel liked. And even though the rest of that chapter in my life didn't turn out the way I wanted, I stand here today and testify that we can trust God. He is worthy to be praised. I think now more than ever, we need His tender mercy to envelope this nation. We are such wicked people. We need His grace. Father, I pray today as I'm typing these words, You would move in a mighty, rushing wind by Your Spirit. I pray You'd bring fathers back home. I pray You'd cause children to repent of their rebelliousness. I pray the cries of mothers would be heard by Your ears and that You would allow the lost to find You. And those that have strayed would renew their vows to You; to walk uprightly in the council of the godly. I pray You would cause Your bride, the Church, to cease her adulterous ways with the world and repent of her wickedness. I come before You today a broken and repentant heart. Nothing in my hands I bring. Only to Your cross I cling. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Man, I love this song God you are so Good. 🙏 This song makes me think about my life all the ups n downs and where I am today and how much God has blessed me. I have certainly given him many reasons to give up on me but He never has or ever would and if your reading this no matter what you've done or what your going through God loves you and he sees you and he will never leave you or forsake you. 🙏

I use to be scared to say whatever comes my way I will trust you... where I use to work in the past I got nothing but abused from my managers... God didn't put me their at all, I did those jobs because it was decent pay, it was hard for me to explain to my parents what I was going through... I honestly did leave in the end... those jobs made me stronger & I always believed God provided me a better job...

I love this song because it puts all my troubles and anxiety in the hands of God... it's so strong... that no matter comes our way I will trust you...💯

Whoever is growing through this your not alone in the world🙌✝️.
