The End
Christian Löffler feat. Josephine Philip Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

In the end, in the end
It's all you, it's all you

So many times before
It all comes apart so fast
I have no regrets at all
Nothing is meant to last
In the end, in the end
It's all you, it's all you
In the end, in the end
It's all you, it's all you

I'm counting on your love tonight
We spend the tonight
To feel the ride
I'm counting on the love tonight

Yeah I am counting on the love tonight
To feel tonight
To take the ride
I'm counting on the love tonight

In the end,
In the end
It's all you
In the end

In the end,
It's all you

Overall Meaning

The song "The End" by Christian Löffler feat. Josephine Philip comprises a chorus that repeats the line "In the end, in the end, it's all you, it's all you" twice in each instance, accompanied by a soft and mellow electronic instrumental tune throughout. The lyrics indicate that the end of things and the ultimate outcome are solely dependent on the person themselves. The verse explains how everything falls apart so quickly and abruptly, with no regrets or grief for things that cannot last.

The interpretation of the song seems to speak of an uncertain future and how everything eventually leads to the end. The words indicate a sense of letting go and seeking salvation in the love of another, perhaps another person or an internal connection. The first line which is repeated frequently speaks of taking responsibility and ownership of their actions and decisions as it is all on them, and reaching the end, the outcome is entitled to them.

In the end, in the end
It’s all you, it’s all you

So many times before
It all comes apart so fast
I have no regrets at all

In the end, in the end
It’s all you, it’s all you
In the end, in the end

So I am from India and International artists come here very rarely as nobody buys music in India(PPP makes it relatively expensive). When people's favorite artists come they just go insane and are very grateful for the opportunity to see them live.

I discovered Christian after graduating from college and was without a job so was going through bit of a difficult phase. And you can imagine how much can his music help during such times. So I absolutely fell in love with him.

And I was over the moon when I learnt that he was coming down to the country, flew 1000 miles to go and see him.

The venue was nice and the fans were nice and it was a really happy, relaxed atmosphere with not too much crowd.

While I was walking up to the venue upstairs, Christian arrives and he is tall and I was so overwhelmed with awe and happiness that I couldn't even muster to say "Hi, I love your music and thanks!"

haha

Have you ever woken up really early and seen the horizon still holding onto the night? All of that untapped potential is still there, you don’t know how the day will unfold, good or bad, it’s all still there waiting to be seen. That’s what this reminds me of.

Beautiful track.
