It sounded like a vocal battle towards the end 😂. Xtina sounded amazing as always, here's the climax ( 2:33 ) when she created the magic. Not sure about some of his belts.

Not everyone can appreciate this outstanding rendition. This is mainly for us black folks. Especially those of us who were raised with soul/gospel music. And if you know, you know it's not about competing. Both Christina and Brian showcase incredible agility and range. Those runs were super impressive and lively. That's insane skill right there. Particularly Christina. That little white girl is 100% a soul singer trapped in the pop industry. You can tell the Etta James influence. I come back to this rendition every year. Amazing👏👏👏
