7. CINEMA can be classified as either an offshoot or a reformation of the long-running Japanese symphonic project FROMAGE, who disbanded in1991 after more than a dozen years and numerous lineups. Guitarist Tohru Ohta, drummer Yuichi Taniguchi and keyboardist Yoshihiro Kitamura, who were all part of the final FROMAGE lineup came together to form CINEMA in 1994 (only Taniguchi was an original member of FROMAGE).
While CINEMA retain a symphonic string presence in the band, their orchestral arrangements are more sparse than their predecessor, and much of the non-traditional sound comes from synthesized keyboards which are played by no less than three of the band's members. Their delicate arrangements can be compared to other chamber-leaning symphonic groups such as VERDUN or VIRGINIA ASTLEY, although the occasional guitar riff is closer to the melding of symphonic and neo-prog found in bands like KAYO DOT, including the use of native Asian percussion.
Like their forbearers FROMAGE, CINEMA tour mostly in Asia and release material sporadically, with only three studio albums to their credit in the past twelve years.
CINEMA deserve recognition in the Archives due to the symphonic nature of their music, complex arrangements and diverse instrumentation, and their pedigree as a second-generation progressive band.

8. Cinema is the definitive band of South African 80’s and 90’s popular music. It consisted of Jarrod Aston on vocals, Mike Todd on guitar, Chris Frank on keyboards and bass and Larry Rose on drums. The mention of the band Cinema stirs up memories of the 80's and 90's – venues such as Gold Reef City, The Village Green, The Thunderdome, Limelight, Chillers and rock concerts and festivals all around the country. Cinema became a household name during this time thanks to their debut hit single, “My Kind of Girl”.
The band went on to release seven albums in total and achieved 12 Top 10 radio singles and numerous awards.
9. Cinema were a short-lived English progressive rock band started in January 1982 by former Yes members Alan White and Chris Squire, with guitarist Trevor Rabin.[1] The previous year, Squire and White had formed the abortive band XYZ with former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. Cinema had plans to release their debut album in 1983, and were working on a number of songs, most of which had been written by Rabin.
Later, these musicians were joined by keyboardist Tony Kaye and, eventually, Jon Anderson, both founding members of the then-disbanded Yes. They started recording the album 90125, but soon after this the band dropped the "Cinema" name, and continued as "Yes".[2]
Demos produced from the Cinema sessions included "Make It Easy" and "It's Over", with lead vocals by Rabin, and an early version of "It Can Happen" featuring Squire on vocals. "Make It Easy" and this version of "It Can Happen" appeared on 1991's Yesyears box set compilation,[3] and were later included as bonus tracks on the remastered version of 90125 released in 2004 by Rhino Records, as was "It's Over".[4] Unreleased tracks worked on by Cinema include "Time," a 20-minute instrumental,[5] and "Carry On."[6]
The introduction from "Time" would end up as an instrumental on 90125, titled "Cinema" as a tribute to the aborted band

A campainha do alarme
E o cão, então, silenciosamente se dirigiu ao prato.
“Trata-se de reflexo condicionado”, não pensou o ladrão.
The lyrics to Cinema's song "Ciência" tell a story of a thief with yellow suitcases trying to convince a dog that his hunger does not depend on the Pavlovian response to a doorbell. The dog listens attentively, looking into the green eyes of the thief. The thief explains that it is a conditioned reflex.
In a gray station, while trying to convince the dog, a fat old woman with purple dress and hair on her legs appears, carrying a yellow suitcase in her right hand. The thief does not consider that this is also a conditioned reflex. Suddenly, without seeing the security guard, the thief attacks and triggers the alarm bell. The dog quietly goes to its bowl to eat. The thief, still not grasping the concept of a conditioned reflex, is unaware of the consequences of his actions.

@ronangasparini4164
Seria bem legal também analisar alguns animes com temática de ciência, tipo doctor Stone e hataraku saibou

Excelente proposta. Senti falta de falar de Watchmen (a série da HBO que continua de onde o gibi parou)...
