Steve - Just trying to cheer up Kevin. I've heard a bunch of bar bands try to play pseudo-classical pieces and they pretty much always failed. Tight ensemble play with nuance is very hard, in my opinion (guitarist for 40 years). Procol Harum did this tune pretty well as "whiter shade of pale."

This song reminds me so much of my dad. He used to play this on me and my brothers tape recorders every night before we went to sleep. He loves classical music and I always associate it with him. My mom died when I was very very young so my dad is all we had and this song brings back memories of my childhood falling asleep to this song, every weekend going to the library with our dad, going to my ballet classes, etc. I don’t know what I will do when my dad eventually passes. Anytime I hear this song from then on it’s going to be very bittersweet for me.
