I remember this tune from college days, and how much I thought this arrangement sounded like Fall looks...certainly a recording that captures the Thornhill band’s sound, both unique and romantic...truly a lovely “moment musicale”...

This is almost on par with Snowfall, wonderful piece. I wish I knew of more songs like this with this sound.

This song is one of my all time favorite. This instrumental version is gorgeous, and for years I have been collecting different vocal and instrumental interpretations of this song; I love playing them when I am all by myself, it takes to wonderful places in time and memory,

What a beautiful little piece of music. Evocative, emotive, and ethereal. A real treat.

One of my favorite songs of many years.

Bought the sheet music recently for about 50cents from a music store's out dated inventory they were trying to get rid of. Saw the copyright but did not realize I had heard it on old movies. Wanted to sight read it to learn it but wanted to hear it too. Hearing it I realized I bought gold for 50cents. Love this song. 😀

Charlie Parker quotes the opening phrases of the theme of this piece in his performance of 'Move' from Birdland in 1950 with allegedly Fats Navarro as trumpeter. Not knowing what it was drove me slightly mad and it took me 40 years to find the answer, thanks to some Japanese enthusiasts.

I'm admitting I'm familiar with this melody through a Bugs Bunny cartoon. It was background music playing while a love-sick mama bear was giggling, "Tell me more about my eyes!"
