To Cliff this is probably just another TV appearance but for a fan growing up during this period it was one of his most memorable TV appearances because of the reputation and following The Tube had. Fans know what an incredible live performer he was (and is)but the general public who saw him on light entertainment shows only got to see the lighter side of him and The Tube was all about showcasing the cool artists of the day performing LIVE. The public got a good idea of how Rock n Roll Cliff was during this period...which they wouldn't have got from other shows. Greatness.
