Water To Wine
Coco Montoya Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Ain't no river too deep
Ain′t no kingdom too big
I won't put at her feet
'Cause what she′s got,
That thing changes water to wine
There′s no day that don't break
Anytime, Lord, she′s sad
I'm at her beckon call
What she′s got
That thing changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Time after time after time
Changes water to wine
Lord, what she's got
That thing changes water to wine
Her every wish is my command
All that have is in her hand
I'm in heaven
I can fly
If I can′t love her
Let no one try
"Cause what she′s got
That thing changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Time after time after time
(Yeah yeah)
Changes water to wine
Lord, what she's got
That thing changes water to wine
Her every wish is my command
All that have is in her hand
I′m in heaven
Lord, I can fly
If I can't love her
Let no man try
"Cause what she′s got
That thing changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Changes water to wine
Time after time after time
(Yeah yeah)
Changes water to wine
What she's got
That thing changes water to wine
The lyrics of Coco Montoya's song "Water To Wine" express the overwhelming love and devotion the singer has for the woman he loves. He sees her as his ultimate inspiration, and nothing in the world could stand in the way of his love for her. He believes that she possesses something truly extraordinary, a unique quality that can transform the ordinary into something truly remarkable.
The song opens up with the affirmation that no challenge is too great to overcome for his love. He is willing to climb any mountain, cross any river, conquer any kingdom. It's clear that his love for this woman knows no bounds. He firmly believes that she holds a mystical power, what Montoya refers to as "that thing," which can change mundane things into something larger than life. The chorus repeats this notion several times over, emphasizing the tremendous power he sees in her.
The second verse emphasizes his promise to always be there for his love, both in good times and bad. He will always be by her side, no matter what. She has a special quality that he cannot resist, one that fills him with joy and makes him feel invincible. He is so deeply in love that he cannot imagine his life without her. He feels that he can fly with her by his side, and the thought of losing her terrifies him.
Overall, the lyrics are an ode to the depth of love the singer feels for his partner. The metaphor of turning water into wine symbolizes the transformative power he sees in her. He believes that her presence is enough to elevate anything around her, turning the ordinary into something remarkable.
