The band currently consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitars, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass, backing vocals). Most of Coheed and Cambria's albums are concept albums based on a science fiction storyline called The Amory Wars, a series written by Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books as well as a full-length novel. The band has released nine studio albums, three live albums, and several special-edition releases. Their most recent release, Vaxis – Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures, is a return to The Amory Wars concept following 2015's The Color Before the Sun, the band's first non-conceptual album since their inception. The Color Before the Sun, The Afterman: Descension, Year of the Black Rainbow and Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness all reached the Billboard top 10.

Overall Meaning

I'm a little bit late to the convo but whatever. I really love this song, it's probably the most underrated song. I would love to see this played more often live. I just came here to state my love for this song, and my appreciation for this band altogether. I was pretty late to discover this band, as I discovered it Summer 2020. I regret not listening to it, but here I am now. I'm pumped for the release of the new album. I love everything Coheed puts out and this is no exception - yes, the lack of solo threw me off (even though i was expecting it reading the comments while loading 720p - couldn't risk it stopping part way on my first view) but it's still an awesome video. You want a solo? listen to the version you have been listening to for a year. And I liked the text - it looks awesome in my opinion

In the end it doesn't matter, at their show I met a bunch of people of all ages. Shouldn't matter what album you started with, the true fans treat the others like family. I can tell you, I met some really cool people at their shows, most I still talk to. It's always nice to meet new fans, spread the love and appreciation for their music.

'Here we are juggernaut' remains the best Coheed video in years, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece because Claudio said it was just something their friends threw together, and not an 'official' video. I appreciate the work put into this, but they could have saved themselves a lot of time by not putting the text in, EVERYONE seems to hate it. Also, for me the solo is one of the most beautiful parts of the album. It all leads up to that one part, then just explodes with such power.Needed the solo.

I really don't get how so many people hate this song. I listen to Coheed in every aspect whether old or new, and this song has made my day better several times. Musicians are like a dime a dozen (I am one) and music like this is really good and prized like caviar. Get over the obsession with second stage turbine blade and just listen to it for what it is...good music.

Same for me. I used to dislike Coheed, until I sang Welcome Home on Rock Band. Actually knowing the lyrics to the song made me realize they have a lot of meaning. Now they are my favorite band and I couldn't live without them. I should have listened before I judged his odd voice.

I agree, the lyrics are a little obnoxious. But, despite this, the video is pretty amazing. I personally love the World of Lines video. It was so unique to the song and to the story in itself. I absolutely loved it. This album reminds me so much of The Prize Fighter Inferno it's not even funny. The concept of the songs are very much in tune with each other. Anyways, I'm a huge Coheed fan and will always admire their work. :)

It really isn't so much that people don't like the song, it's the album that people don't really like. Claudio actually almost stopped writing after touring No World because he lost half the band in the process. Maybe his heart wasn't totally in this album and the sound was different due to a new drummer. At least that's what I gathered from the documentary from Black Rainbow. In any case, this album may not be the best, but it is still damn good.

I love this song & I'm a Fence Kid to the core. I don't understand why the art of this promo video sacrificed the art in the song. Cutting songs shorter is done for radio and TV all the time for purposes benefitting other things but does so at the song's expense. The reason we're all here is because we love these songs and their MUSIC. That's the priority. Music is first. Cutting that solo OUT wasn't necessary & I'm struggling to see the benfit of it's absence.

So did most of their fans. I've been listening since they were Shabutie, but you don't see me bragging about it. What does it matter how long you've been a fan, or how long you've listened? If you like the band, you like the band. They make music to speak to people, and it works. You shouldn't complain because there are multiple forms of media to reach new ears. You should be happy that a band you like is getting the attention they deserve.

I think it's wrong when people give the honor of a song to someone/something else than the band/person who makes it, but it is something different learning about a band from something else than who made it.

I wouldn't say it has anything to do with youth. I'm 39, & didn't discover the band til I heard a song on the PS3 game, Rock Band. Now they're one of my favorite artists. I suppose you came out of the womb fully informed on who the greatest bands in every genre were, but most of us aren't so lucky.
