Estrela de papel
Poeira virou o céu
Da estrela dela
Mina vi
Estrela amarela
Que brilha o dia todo
Arco íris da minha estrela
Brilhava na terra de quem eu nunca vi.

The lyrics to Comadre Fulozinha's song Chumbo de Vidro speak about a broken dream, represented through the imagery of a glass bullet and a paper star. The idea of fragility is present in both these images, as well as the reference to dust, indicating the fleeting nature of dreams. The singer reflects on a yellow star that shines all day, representing a tangible reality, something that has been achieved. The rainbow referenced in the song is the colorful vision of the dream that is now lost. It speaks to the power of visualizing one's goals, and the disappointment of not being able to reach them.
The lyrics also reference a sense of displacement, as the singer reflects on the fact that the rainbow was shining on land belonging to someone they never saw. This adds to the feeling of disconnectedness, the detachment to one's own dreams, and the impossibility of control. The lyrics, while initially seeming light-hearted, are actually speaking to the tragedy of unrealized aspirations and the weightlessness of dreams in the face of harsh realities.
