The band started in January, 2004 with Ron2-D2 and Rundberg meeting for the first time in 10 years. A lot of booze later Container 90 was born. "Container" for its weight and form, and "90" for the old days.
Container 90 have kept their musical attitude through their whole existence: strong, fast, punchy music with a unique (to EBM) punk approach which can be heard both in vocals, lyrics, and musical composition itself.
The band's discography consists of two singles/EP's Epigone Idols (2004), Der Container Klang (2005), and three full-lenth albums: Scandinavian Masters (2006), World ChampionShit (2008), and Working Class League (2013). The latter was also released as a special "party-kit" edition with beer, beer coasters, bottle opener, condoms and aspirin; of which all except aspirin were decorated in a Container 90 theme.
Container 90 frequently play live where their punk-oriented approach often results in moshpits among the audience. They are otherwise known as one of the most energy-filled and professional veterans of the old school EBM/anhalt EBM scene.
Earlier musical connections lead to Presto Fervant, an old school EBM band from the late 1980's, and several later (post Container 90 origins) spin-offs that concetrate on different musical influences merged with electronic and EBM music style: Container 69 and Container 59. They have also collaborated with Sturm Café on a track entitled "1/15".

Clean
Container 90 Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
it's a filthy work
but someone got to do it
less is more
more is less
we got to keep it clean
In Container 90's song "Clean," the lyrics focus on the idea of keeping things clean, while acknowledging that it's not always an easy task. The repeated lines "it's a filthy job" and "it's a filthy work" emphasize the difficulty of the work that needs to be done, while the repetition of "less is more" and "more is less" speaks to the idea that sometimes simplicity is the best approach to cleanliness. Overall, the song seems to be about the importance of taking care of the spaces in which we live and work, even if it's not always glamorous or enjoyable.
