Origin of Jenkins Stage Name--------- Jenkins felt that his real name wasn't marketable, and he changed his show business name in 1957. (Harold Lloyd Jenkins would always remain his legal name, however). Looking at a road map, he spotted Conway, Arkansas and Twitty, Texas. Thus, he went with the professional name of "Conway Twitty".[citation needed]
Alternatively, Jenkins met a Richmond, VA, man named W. Conway Twitty Jr. through Jenkins' manager in a New York City restaurant. The manager served in the army with the real Conway Twitty. Later, the manager suggested to Jenkins that he take the name as his stage name because it had a ring to it. The Richmond Conway Twitty subsequently recorded the song, "What's in a Name But Trouble," in the mid-1960s, lamenting the loss of his name to Jenkins. The flip side of the 45 RPM record was "The Purple, Purple People Eater, Eater." (The more well known version of Purple People Eater, however, now having sold over 100,000,000 copies, was recorded by Sheb Wooley.)

Yes, On Blueberry hill
On Blueberry hill
Woo, When I found you.
My heart stood still
Right there on Blueberry hill
You know it ain't good until
The wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
And all of those vows we made
Are never to be.
Though we're apart
You know I dream of you still
Cause you were my thrill
On Blueberry hill.
The wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
And all of those vows we made
Are never to be.
Though we're apart
You know I dream of you still
Cause you were my thrill
Down on Blueberry hill
The song Blueberry Hill by Conway Twitty is a heart-warming love song that talks about a memory that is so precious to the singer that the memory seems to be frozen in time. The lyrics talk about the thrill that the singer found "on Blueberry hill" and how he met his loved one there. The lines "My heart stood still/ Right there on Blueberry hill" portray a moment of pure happiness and elation, perhaps during a first encounter with his loved one. The lyrics also portray the importance of making one's dreams come true, indicating the significant impact that this awakening might have had on the singer's life.
The second verse of the song speaks about the couple making vows that are never to be, depicting unfulfilled promises and dreams that cannot be realised. This verse also portrays a hint of sadness and longing where the singer dreams of his loved one, hoping that they might be together someday. The song is a touching tribute to love and all its complexities, and the chorus which repeats itself goes on to reflect on the tender moments in which the two lovers were together and how precious those moments are, even now that they are apart. All of these elements tie together to make the song a beautiful and moving tribute to love and its impact on human beings.
