After two albums, recording, producing and mixing all their music by themselves, the band decided to improve on their 'Do-It-Yourself' mentality and take it to a next level. This 3rd album (appropriately called The 3rd Album) is a co-operation with producer Reyn. His recording studio, filled with old analogue synths, pianos and rare musical apparatuses, was an apt place for the quartet to put their creativity to the test. Twelve haunting songs have found their way into this work of fiction. The first single A good year for the robots, the ironic God dress America and the uplifting You will fall are just a few of the highlights on the album. The magazine-like booklet coming with the album is a compilation of 12 photographs by talented Dutch artists and photographers and 12 little stories accompanying the 12 songs. You'll also find all the lyrics in the back of the booklet. This whole Coparck magazine has been compiled and written by Girod, feeding the listener with images and words.
The album got very good response. National radio station 3FM and some magazines proclaimed it their “Album of the Week”, MTV made Coparck’s video for “Good Year for the Robots” as “Must-C”.
Kindamuzik.net mentioned Coparck’s album as “the new standard for Dutch bands”.
In autumn 2009 they released their last album, A Dog and Pony Show. In februari 2010, after ten beautiful years, they decided to stop. After giving one last tour, and playing at several festivals, they finally quit in summer 2010.
A Good Year for the Robots

As I hear robots singing
Shouldn't we all?
Cause they never fail or fall
Out of love and,
Shouldn't we all?
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
Shouldn't we all?
Destined to be in love
Then we'll out live heartaches
Shouldn't we all?
Cause man he says tins can't love
Simultaneously
And shouldn't we all?
Cause it's a good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
And do the androids dream of electric sheep?
Do the androids dream of electric sheep?
Do the androids dream of electric sheep?
Do the androids dream of electric sheep?
Cause it's a good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
A good year for the robots
In Coparck's song A Good Year for the Robots, the lyrics discuss the idea of collecting love songs while listening to robots sing, questioning whether or not we should all follow suit. The reference to robots never failing or falling out of love highlights the idea that, while they may not be human, they possess a certain stability and dependability that humans may lack in relationships. The repeated line "Shouldn't we all?" is a call to action, suggesting that perhaps we should all embrace the consistency and reliability of robotic love instead of dealing with the inherent risks and heartache of being in a relationship with another human.
The lyrics also explore the idea of the supposed inability of machines to feel emotions, specifically love. The line “man he says tins can't love simultaneously” suggests that humans have preconceived ideas about what machines are capable of, and that love is not something that is usually associated with machines. However, the repeated question "Do the androids dream of electric sheep?" seems to challenge this notion, as it suggests that perhaps machines do have thoughts and desires beyond what humans believe and that they are capable of feeling emotions like love.
Overall, the lyrics to A Good Year for the Robots touch on the idea of embracing the unemotional consistency of robotic love and challenge the assumption that machines are incapable of feeling emotions. It begs the question of whether we should be more open to the idea of embracing a non-human form of love and allow the possibility that machines may be capable of more than we initially thought.

I remember when this video used to be on MTV at the same time every morning. I left home late for school because I knew this song would come, for almost two weeks in a row :P Had to make up a lot of fake explainations to avoid punishment :D
