These kinds of videos are both educational and entertaining. The only thing that I'm missing is a bit more explanation of the thought process behind positioning the number text (half-number) within the element. I was surprised how flex-end would move the text content within the container.

You are right about the top vs topHalf. Luckily, it doesn't make any difference since that line of code is no longer needed.

As for the semicolon it is because I don't end my lines with semicolons so in some rare situations I need to start a line with a semicolon to prevent bugs.

The issue with "animationend" here is that when you switch browser tab to another, the animation won't work so it will create a glitch on removing elements.

He could have put the semicolon at the end of the querySelector function above too. It just tells the compiler to treat those two lines separately otherwise it thinks it is doing document.querySelector(“.flip-card”)[…flipCard.children] which of course causes errors
