The band was originally called "Bully", then briefly changed to "Cadogan" until it was finally decided as Cousin Kevin.

Based in the Bay Area of San Francisco, the band has released two studio-length albums, "Bully For You" and "Coming Back From Yesterday", which really was an alternate version of "Bully For You" with the lyrics changed as well as a few instruments.

Some of the songs featured on these records are denied Third Eye Blind songs, and it is possible that a new record will be released in 2006 via a larger medium, as Cousin Kevin generally releases record through the Kevin Cadogan website.
