Sometimes you gotta take a chance to break through
And when the world is not enough
That's what gives you everything or breaks you
Feeling empty, feeling used
It's like we're running off fumes
A little broken, confused
Ain't giving up on you, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh
Ain't giving up on you
When the going gets tough
Just remember it's me and you for life
And when the world is not enough
Baby, are we worth the fight?
Feeling empty, feeling used
It's like we're running off fumes
A little broken, confused
But one thing I know for sure
Ain't giving up on you, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh, ain't giving up on you
Ain't giving up on you
Oh, oh, oh
Ain't giving up on you
The lyrics of Craig David & Sigala's song Ain't Giving Up is an ode to the perseverance and resilience of a loving relationship. The first verse highlights the importance of taking risks and breaking through barriers, even when it seems like the world is against you. The line "when the world is not enough, that's what gives you everything or breaks you" emphasizes the idea that sometimes in order to achieve great things, one needs to push past their limits.
The second verse delves deeper into the complexity of relationships, acknowledging that they are not always easy and can leave one feeling depleted and confused. However, the chorus serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult things get, the singer is committed to not giving up on their partner. The repetition of "ain't giving up on you" reinforces their unwavering dedication to the relationship.
Overall, the song is an uplifting anthem for those who may be struggling in their relationships or personal lives. It encourages listeners to push through their struggles and not give up on the things that are most important to them.
