Vanishing Point
Cranes Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Look how all the moonlight shines
I watch you race through space and time
'Cause I've been seated here a while
Just gazing closely in your eyes

I check your frequencies again
No, don't be vanishing
I don't think i could bear it, no, no
No, no
If you were to disappear

I can't see you
I can't see you
Dark in here
Cannot see you

I can't see you
I can't see you

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Cranes' song Vanishing Point describe the feeling of being in awe of someone and being scared to lose them. The first two lines talk about how the singer is admiring their companion, watching them go "through space and time" which could be interpreted as admiring their accomplishments and experiences. The singer then reveals that they've been sitting there for a while, just caught up in the moment of gazing into the eyes of the person they're with.

The second verse reveals that the singer is worried that their companion might disappear. They check the "frequencies" which could be interpreted as checking on their moods or emotions, making sure everything is okay. The repetition of "I can't see you" in the last verse could be interpreted as the singer being scared that their companion will vanish or leave them. The darkness they mention could be interpreted as uncertainty or insecurity about the future of their relationship.

I told everyone I can tear the Word to shreds, just did, it is because Jehovah refuses to see he only learnt from himself, for only he exsisted and not any other being. How could he learn acceptance for anyone but himself? He makes justice personal, therefore he is but a man having feelings we all feel. Man learns and changes according. Jehovah only lies to himself. 1 day all that exists will cease to exsist for he will pull the plug himself. I want to change that outcome, how can I if he thinks he is right?
