Inside Out
Crash Vegas Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

How many times will you walk away?
How many times will you walk away?
Don't turn your back on me now
It's so easy for you

How many times will I hear those replies
How many times your endless replies
While you're sitting so cool
As everything crumbles around you

But I walk down this road
And I see all these people just passing
By tomorrow's headlines, familiar crimes
And I wonder, it makes me wonder

Inside out, I was crying
Inside out, I was dying
Inside out, I was lying

How many times will the river run dry?
How many times must this river run dry?
Your excuses are brittle and thin
As you sit in the garden of Eden

You say I'm crazy,
I've got lots to learn
The world will do fine, without my concern
As your poison falls from the sky
Smile for the camera, like something divine

But is scares me to think of the trick with the mirror
'Cause when some things change
They'll change forever

Inside out, I was crying
Inside out, I was dying
Inside out, I was lying

As I walk down this road
And I see all these people just passing
By tomorrow's headlines, familiar crimes
And I wonder, it makes me wonder

Inside out, I was crying
Inside out, I was dying

Inside out, I was crying
Inside out, I was lying

I know what you mean.
Very nostalgic of the Queen Street West music & shop scene.
It's was such an amazing feeling & vibe during that era walking around just being in those moments.
It's just not the same anymore around those areas.
Can only remember & hold on to all those times when hearing these songs again.
