Creating music that has one foot in the indie genre and one foot in a darker electronic realm, Crooked Colours’ sound has often been compared to a combination of English indie-rock foursome Alt J and US electronic duo Crystal Castles.
To date the band has been fortunate enough to play at Parklife, Wonderland and St Jerome's Laneway festivals, as well as sharing the stage with the likes of Flume, Grafton Primary and PNAU. 2013 also saw Crooked Colours support RÜFÜS on their sold out national tour.
Crooked Colours will be releasing their 'In Your Bones' EP featuring their hit track 'Come Down' in May this year through Sweat It Out Music! before a full Australian tour in July

Heart String by Crooked Colours is a song about looking back at the 90s and the carefree days, where love was all about dancing and romanticizing. I’m new to Crooked Colours and I have to say.. gawd.. I’m literally dancing like a damn hippie! From the progressiveness, the electronic and alternative rock mixture feels, and the way it just stops in the middle of the song, I just love every aspect to this song.
