Crossbreed Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
sparates cause you will not le your destination break
get up get up, give up your mind the season, the violence keeps coming back
breakdown
corruption inside and hateful crimes sorrowful days all full of despise
high, falling down simple lives will all come together animosiy
will always be till we relieve the children from there tears
get up get up, give up your mind the seasons change in hatred
In the song "Seasons" by Crossbreed, the singer discusses the nature of desire and attachment, and how they impact our lives. The lyrics suggest that when desire is strong, it becomes active and drives our actions, but when it fades, it becomes inactive and useless. Similarly, when we become too attached to something or someone, it can cause us to lose sight of our ultimate destination or purpose. The singer warns that if we let this attachment consume us, we risk breaking ourselves and losing sight of what truly matters.
The theme of "Seasons" is further developed through its chorus, which emphasizes the cyclical nature of violence in our world. The singer urges listeners to "get up" and "give up" their minds, suggesting that we must be active participants in breaking the cycle of violence and corruption that plagues our society. The song also touches on the toll that this violence takes on individuals, with lyrics about sorrowful days full of despise and defective minds.
Overall, "Seasons" is a powerful commentary on the human experience, and how our desires and attachments can both drive us forward and hold us back. The song implores us to take action and break free from the cycles of violence that threaten to consume us.
