Omen
Crossfaith Lyrics

It's an omen

Oh now

It's an omen
It's an omen

Now the writing's on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen
You just run an automation

Now the writing's on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen

It's an omen
It's an omen

Now the writing's on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen
You just run an automation

It's an omen
Now

It won't go away

Writings on the wall
Writings on the wall
Writings on the wall

Now the writing's on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen
You just run an automation

Now the writings on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen

It's an omen
It's an omen

Now the writing's on the wall
It won't go away
It's an omen
You just run an automation

Now it's an omen
Now it's an omen

Now it's an omen
Now it's an omen

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Crossfaith’s song Omen seem to revolve around a sense of foreboding or a sense of impending doom. The repeated phrase “It’s an omen” seems to suggest that something ominous is about to happen. The phrase “Now the writing’s on the wall, it won’t go away” implies that this feeling of impending doom is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore or deny. This feeling is further supported by the phrase “You just run an automation”, suggesting that people might be stuck in a pattern of behavior or thought that is leading them towards this ominous event. The repetition of “Now it’s an omen” at the end of the song may suggest a sense of urgency or immediacy regarding the impending doom.

Overall, the lyrics of Omen seem to be warning listeners about some unknown disaster or impending crisis. The repeated phrase “It’s an omen” and the imagery of “writing on the wall” both suggest an ancient, prophetic warning. The repeated lines “You just run an automation” and “Now it’s an omen” imply that people may be blindly heading towards this disaster, without even realizing it. The sense of urgency and foreboding in the song make for a powerful and thrilling listen that will leave listeners wondering what disaster could be on the horizon.

I don't even care if his English isn't perfect - the fact that he makes the effort to sing in English, and they fly around the world to perform for foreign fans and support foreign bands, and they thank us for supporting them in English, deserves a lot of respect. I saw them support BMTH a couple of years ago, in a small local venue and when they played this - no disrespect to BMTH - it destroyed the place, absolutely insane!

@tommc8580

CBRsmithy i too saw them with BMTH! and to be honest even though they were supporting they brought more thunder than bring me, i was really impressed, amazing both in studio and live

@illuminatidevil666

They killed when they came to singapore as opening for bmth . Shagged before bmth even started playing 👍💯

@OwnerN1

CBRsmithy Now I'm not from America but I don't really feel his English is bad. I barely hear any accent. I mean, there's lots of german bans (for example) that have a much more clear accent.

@dragonpup1

Patrick Lindbom I seen them and OM&M support BMTH in Australia, Crossfaith fucking killed it. Best band of the night. Not saying the other 2 were shit because they were fucking incredible, Crossfaith just had the most energy and interacted with the crowd the most and just made the most of everything.
