No...
Yo no creo en eso amor!
No...
No no no no no
Es probable que un día de estos
Acabe metido en Venezuela
En busca de una doncella
Morena, prendida en candela
Es posible mi parcerito
Que en medellin una colombiana
Me enamore un fin de semana
Y me coma a besos en la orilla de la playa
Y a mi me lo dice la intuición
No valdrá la pena
Tengo 99 problemas y no
No vas hacer mi problema
No no no no no
Güira, tambor y guaracha
Lo baila hasta la alcatracha
Se siente como ella se agacha
Y si no baila se despacha
De Santo Domingo a Punta Cana
Se mueve mejor mi Dominica
Bailemos, pero sin amor
No...
Yo no creo en eso amor!
No...
No no no no no
The song Mambo by Cruzito is a fun and energetic track that celebrates the joy of dancing and having a good time. The lyrics criticize the concept of love, arguing that it often leads to pain and disappointment. Instead, Cruzito expresses his desire for music and dancing, particularly the Latin American rhythm of mambo. He describes his fantasies of exploring different countries, meeting women, and enjoying their company without any commitment or emotional attachment.
Throughout the song, Cruzito creates a sense of relaxation and freedom associated with music and dance. The repetition of the phrase "yo lo que quiero es mambo" reinforces this idea, as if to say that dancing is all he needs to be happy. The playful use of language, including puns and nonsensical expressions, adds to the carefree and irreverent tone of the song. The inclusion of traditional Latin American instruments, such as the güira, tambor, and guaracha, also highlights the cultural roots of the music.
Overall, Mambo is a catchy and entertaining song that celebrates the joy and connection of music and dance. It presents a critique of conventional love and relationships, while embracing the freedom and pleasure of a life lived through music.
