I got a couple cassettes at Woolworth at the mall for like $4.99 when I was like in 8th grade. Hornets Nest, Oddball and other stuff he did w the Blue Flames on them. One song called UFO which I've never heard since in the same manner is hilarious. In HS I would wake and bake and ride my bike to school listening to Hendrix, Cream, Beatles, The Doors......its all such a blur now. As for LSD...last time I did that was enough for a lifetime. Stayed up all night w a roommate talking. Even wrote a little ditty on guitar I still remember. People don't have that closeness anymore or a friend to trip acid with.....its a shame. Were all careers now and status and acting like we don't shit just like animals do.

@The33rdRevolution Dont worry about getting the info wrong-not your fault.Take a look at a website called https://www.guitars101.com/forums/f145/jimi-hendrix-curtis-knight-squires-complete-recording-stu-flac-132506.html This contains all the information you will need about the hendrix and curtis knight recordings.(you may be able to download the music but i think you will need someway to unzip or decompress it.

I'll have to check my tape and see if it runs the same length or not. And about the record companies I too have run into many of the independent labels, like Astan and Trip to name a few, have the tendency to name songs differently to make it seem like you might be getting something new. I still buy off brand labels if I can find at a price I don't mind getting a little hosed on. I have paid 10 bucks and only gotten 2-4 new tracks. That one sucked, but that's the way collecting went before the internet. Sorry for the misinfo on this track. I'm not big on the research. I'd rather just listen to the music. And I did a little research and then just copy/pasted this info on all but 2 songs I think. I did see that they were claimed to be studio tracks. I'll change this description soon. I'm sure I am and will be wrong again. Thanks for the info about there being a longer version. Now I'll have to dig thru the collection and see If I might have it somewhere. Or at least keep a look out for it.

@The33rdRevolution Thanks for the reply. The information presented on earlyhendrix.com is usually correct. The problem is that certain record companies give deliberate false information in order to trick people into buying their product. Also i just realised this is the edited version-The full version runs to 4.15.

I'm guessing that you are referring to the '67 album release called Flashing, as the tape I have is called, could also be known as Curtis Knight Sings and Jimi Hendrix Plays, or Get That Feeling from what I've drummed up. I have a copy of Flashing and that version of Oddball sounds the same as this one. There where 2 studio sessions for this album. 17th of July and August 8th '67. Supposedly oddball was recorded on the July session. But it has also been said that Hendrix mixed up the dates of the recordings so it could be the August session. Honestly, when it comes to early Hendrix it becomes a bit of a crap shoot sometimes. The more I dig the more things seem rather wishy-washy. I can't give you facts cuz I wasn't there.
