French born Cyndi Almouzni (formally Cherie and now Cindy Alma), participated in the UK selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 held in Finland. She reached the final of the National Final with "I'll Leave My Heart"
Cyndi missed out on representing the UK by 8% of the votes. Whilst Cyndi and Scooch were on stage during the results, Terry Wogan announced Cyndi as the winner, where as Fearn Cotton (co-host) announced Scooch. After a few seconds of confusion, Scooch was announced as the winners.

My mums favourite song. She’s battling pancreatic cancer right now. Times running out for her. It’s so hard for me to listen to it. I can’t imagine how I’ll feel when she is actually gone. I’ll be a broken man. I already am tbh but her strength is inspiring. Love you mum
