Never Enough
Cyrus Yung Lyrics

Pour another cup
Smokin all my ciggies
Gotta hit another puff
Cause man I had enough
Pour another bud
Smoking all my ciggies
Cause I never had enough
You gonna watch it play out
All up in my session
Man you better stay out
I gotta bet on all these babies
Like I’m Tarantino
She twerkin on my lap yeah Imma bout to cash out
Yes the Babies goin wild
But I put em to the side
Hundred thousand for my style
Make it double for the ride
Man I had enough
Pour another cup
Smokin all my ciggies
Gotta hit another pub
Cause man I had enough
Pop another bud
Smoking all my ciggies
Cause I never had enough
Yeah man I had enough
Yeah man I had enough
Tell me that it’s fine
When I’m not ok
Money’ll never change us
We will always be the same
With more diamonds in my chain tho
Never been too careful
Spending all this money cause it never made my day
I wanna buy a golden banjo
Smash it on a benz oh
Counting all these bands I want them babies go wild
Yes the Babies goin wild
But I put em to the side
Hundred thousand for my style
Make it double for the ride
Man I had enough
Pour another cup
Smokin all my ciggies
Gotta hit another pub
Cause man I had enough
Pop another bud
Smoking all my ciggies
Cause I never had enough
Yeah man I had enough
Yeah man I had enough
In Cyrus Yung's song "Never Enough," the lyrics convey a sense of dissatisfaction and a constant desire for more. The repeated phrase "Man I had enough" suggests that the singer feels like they have reached their limit or saturation point in some aspect of their life. The subsequent lines "Pour another cup, Smoking all my ciggies, Gotta hit another puff" illustrate their attempt to escape or numb their dissatisfaction through vices like alcohol and smoking.
The lyrics also touch on the singer's ambitious nature and their tendency to surround themselves with a supportive team. The line "I’ve been movin with my team, You gonna watch it play out" suggests that they have a strong support system and are focused on achieving their goals. However, the following line "Man you better stay out" hints at their protective nature and the need to keep certain people at a distance.
The lyrics further emphasize the singer's focus on material wealth and success. They talk about betting on "babies" (possibly referring to lucrative ventures or potentially risky investments) and allude to indulgent spending habits. The line "She twerkin on my lap yeah Imma bout to cash out" suggests a desire for immediate gratification and the potential consequences of such behavior.
Despite their pursuit of wealth and success, the lyrics hint at the singer's realization that money doesn't necessarily bring happiness or fulfillment. The lyrics "Money’ll never change us, We will always be the same" reflect a sense of groundedness and a belief in staying true to oneself. However, the line "Spending all this money cause it never made my day" implies that they have yet to find true satisfaction or contentment even with their financial status.
The final repetition of the phrase "Man I had enough" reaffirms the central theme of the song, highlighting the ongoing struggle and insatiable desire for more. The lyrics suggest that the singer is trapped in a cycle of seeking external validation, material possessions, and momentary pleasures, but ultimately finding that these things never truly fulfill them.
