I close my eyes
Everytime
I feel the light
Yeah
Swear I hit you with the moto-or goddamn
Yeah
Swear I hit you with the moto-or goddamn
Swear I hit you with the moto-or goddamn
Yeah
Swear I hit you with the moto-or goddamn
Everytime
I close my eyes
Everytime
I feel the light
Everytime
I close my eyes
Everytime
I feel the light
One hand in the whip
Don't do no 10 & 2
I heard all y'all music
All that shit sound identical
Got so many niggas mad
could make a list, alphabetical
42 a classic, front to back
It's incredible
He call me bro but I ain't friends with him
And my pockets got dead presidents
J's white, eminem
She give me brain, intelligence
Look at my wrist, My watch got rocks
not crystals
I stay the same, not switch like that nintendo
Swear to god y'all niggas suck
Play my shit they listen up
Tell me how you feel
And then ask me if i give a fuck
You gon' be mad at the answer
I do not have any manners
I just be tapping my card
Just like the shit is a dancer
Let's make a movie, Black Panther
I'll turn you into an actress
But this shit big like a mansion
So you ain't doing no acting
Let's make a film on my mattress
This 42, not no trash shit
This 42, not no trash shit
I get the bread, do a money spread
I got a 10 laying in my bed
All these bangers, I can't pick the best
And my money blue like it's depressed
In the first part of the lyrics, the artist expresses a feeling of connection and enlightenment every time they close their eyes and feel the light. They repeatedly emphasize hitting someone with "moto," which could be a reference to declaring a strong message or stance. This could signify a sense of empowerment and confidence in their beliefs or actions.
The artist then shifts to a more confrontational tone, dismissing the traditional rules of driving with "One hand in the whip, Don't do no 10 & 2." They critique the lack of originality in contemporary music, suggesting that many songs sound the same. The reference to making a list alphabetically of the people mad at them implies that their success and impact have garnered some envy.
There's a boastful tone in the mention of their album "42" being a classic and incredible. They distance themselves from insincere relationships, highlighting their financial success with references to dead presidents in their pocket, expensive jewelry (wrist with rocks, not crystals), and a lavish lifestyle.
The artist maintains a nonchalant and rebellious attitude throughout the lyrics, proclaiming indifference to others' opinions and asserting their dominance in the music industry. There's a mix of arrogance and vulnerability as they talk about their romantic exploits and financial abundance, while also alluding to feelings of isolation and perhaps even sadness with the mention of money being "blue like it's depressed." Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of defiance, self-assurance, and a desire for authenticity and success amidst the noise and pressures of the music industry and personal relationships.
