Dedication 2 (Gangsta Grillz) released in 2006 with heavily crunked out remixes of popular hits courtesy of Drama and lyrics provided by Wayne along with a slew of many of other rappers. The mixtape featured many artists that were currently signed to Waynes label, Young Money. Among them were Curren$y, Remy Ma, Freeway, Willie The Kid, Detroit Red, Juice, Mack Maine, Pharrell and Juelz Santana delivering raw intensity with phenomenal flow. Assisting Drama with production were Don Cannon, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Infamous, Swizz Beatz, Pimp C, and many more. Tom Breihan of The Village Voice proclaimed it the best summer album of 2006, praising DJ Drama's "impeccable beat selection". "SportsCenter" was complimented for its "free associating brain bursts." "Georgia... Bush" was also acclaimed for its "mesmerizing indictment" of President Bush.
Following up in the Dedication series yet again, Drama and Wayne release Dedication 3 (Gangsta Grillz) in 2008. Although Dedication 3 was a major success, it failed to match that of its predecessors but did gain some attention. The mixtape has sold over 70,000 copies in the United States, despite being available for free download. Besides the interludes, a majority of the mixtape has Wayne using auto-tune. Wayne continued to promote his own artists on this album. Returning MC's consisted of Willie the Kid and Mack Maine along with newcomers like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Returning producers included Don Cannon and Pimp C. Production was also assisted by newcomers like Soulja Boy and David Banner.
While both Drama and Wayne have continued their own respective careers, it has been said that Dedication 4 is in the works.

I see beef as dead meat
Who dat, the president, yea me, no one scare me
And you ain't gotta double dare me, hear me
Loud and clearly, rats aren't near me
Wire tap, niggas get blood in the earpiece
I'm from New Orleans, nowhere near peace
Pure beast, fear free, dear grief
Fuck a man whoever made him
I will hurt whoever love him cause I hate him
Looking for a lady, high and sedated
Got her to the pad I don't know a nigga made it
She gave me relations so now we related
The morning comes, the picture faded
I'm waited on my turn to burn, can I get a light
Little dog, bigger bike
Jackson 5, Little Mike
Can I get a mic or a mic and a half
Thank the source owner, shoutout to the editors staff
I'm all grown so much better with math
I'm need a spread in the Forbes taking a benjamin bath
I'm servin this track, like Stephograph
Roger Federer, there's no competitors
Niggas know my rhetoric, bitch know my preference
Young GOD baby all you other niggas reverends
Sittin in my big house, surrounded by my weaponry
I keep them away like I got leprosy
Chopper right next to me, loaded up with Pepper seeds
Got an extra clip but that's only for my especially's
This is especially for you, disrespect a nigga game, what kinda referee is you?
Swallow ya whistle, make a nigga ride with the pistol
Cause the fakest niggas ride with the pistol
Even if I die old, I'ma die with the pistol
If you stand over my body, I'll probably kill you
Not really, Weezy da realest
I wear a lot of bathin ape cause I be with gorillas yeah
He what they talkin bout, topic of the conversation
Product of determination
Stop playin you are not up in my situation
I get money like a caucasian
The car red so the caucausin, stop hatin
Ya'll ballers I'ma sports agent
Wait a minute, let me translate it
It's Weezy, not the fatha motherfuckin baby
In the first verse of "Sportscenter," Lil Wayne flexes about his power, fearlessness, and ruthlessness. He emphasizes his ability to cover his tracks effortlessly while simultaneously tearing up the competition. Wayne's mention of being from New Orleans and not having any fear connects to his past life in one of the most dangerous cities in America where he was exposed to violence throughout his childhood. He also mentions that he is ready to hurt anybody for crossing him, emphasizing his reputation as a rapper as one not to be messed with. Additionally, Wayne speaks on the women he has around him and his ability to get whoever he wants. However, Wayne's encounter with this woman is temporary, and his focus is mainly on his power, as seen when he says that he is all grown up and much better with math. According to Wayne, this translates to his aim of appearing in Forbes, taking a long Benjamin bath, and being surrounded by weaponry. He is a force to be reckoned with and believes that other rappers should recognize this fact.
In the next verse, Wayne continues with his aggressive approach to life. He keeps his enemies at bay by arming himself with a chopper, loaded up with pepper seeds, ready to take down anyone who challenges his authority. Specifically, he mentions that he has an extra clip meant only for his special enemies, indicating that he takes his enemies seriously and has measures in place to take them down. Wayne turns his attention to his haters, implying that they use fake bravado as a facade. He takes pride in his authentic street credibility and reputation, believing that he lives up to his name as Weezy the realest. Finally, Wayne switches into a boastful rant about his wealth, comparing himself to a caucasian, and mentioning that he is a sports agent. He concludes the verse by saying "It's Weezy, not the father, motherfuckin' baby," signifying that he is no longer the same naive rapper who began his career under Birdman's Cash Money Records. Instead, he is an evolved and confident lyricist with a new and independent vision for his career.
