DJ Dubstep's song Bonfire is a reflections on the transformative power of love. In the first line, "let them from my heart and lose and fell they rose to claim it," the singer is talking about letting go of their emotions and feelings, and as they do, they are transformed by love. Although they may have fallen before, they rise again to claim it, meaning that they stand up for what they believe in, in this case, love.

The next line, "it was dark and I was over 'til you kissed my lips and you saved me," paints a picture of a narrator who was lost and in despair until they were kissed by the person they love. This kiss allowed them to see hope and to be saved from their darkness. The final line, "my hands fell strong but my knees will fall to," can be interpreted in a few different ways. It could mean that the singer is strong in their conviction, but they are vulnerable to being brought to their knees by love. Or it could mean that even though they may appear strong on the outside, their emotional vulnerability will eventually cause them to fall to their knees.
