DJ Flex a fait une entrée fracassante dans le milieu musical à la fin des années 90, avec un titre: Ready. Cette première livraison a été vendue à plus de 50 000 exemplaires et a squatté le sommet des charts dance pendant des lustres. Quelques mois plus tard, courant 2000, DJ Flex rencontre Ken Norris, avec qui il compose le titre Good Feelin.
