Already in 1988 Mind-X went to his first parties in Berne. Be it Gangloff, Gurten or Dampfzentrale, later on Stufenbau, the young man was always on the scene. Thanks to DJ Boumi B, a forerunner of the Bernese scene, Mind-X started to find more enthusiasm for this type of music. Not only the music grabbed him, he was also more and more fascinated about mixing it. Even today, Mind-X sees mixing as a way to send people off onto a journey to another world with his sound. After he had organized the first own parties together with friends and also fascinated the people around Berne with his music, he could also do bigger events at the Dreieck (Thun) and show-off his mixing talent. As fate would have it, one day he got to know a founder of the event organizer Inka Imperio. So after his first event in 1993 at the Bernese Aarebar he started his big DJ carrier at Inka Imperio Parties.
Meanwhile, DJ Mind-X counts as one of the most booked DJs in Switzerland. There are no major events without him (Energy, Motion, Evolution, Goliath, Atlantis, Futurescope, Warcraft, etc.). He also counts as resident DJ in major clubs like OXA Zurich, GATE ONE Berne, MAD Lausanne and NACHTWERK Thun. The latter even under his own concept named "Harem Nights". His international break-through was thanks to the hit singles "Nightingale" and "Never talk to Aliens" that were distributed by Overdose/EMI. Since this moment, his bookings go far beyond the Swiss border. To name a few: Tarmcenter Cologne, X-tra Koblenz, Reaktor Buehl, Paramount Park Frankfurt, E.D. Elephant Singen, Webster Hall New York, Shadow Lounge Miami and Space Ibiza. He also had appearances in countries like Norway, Spain, Israel, Austria, France and Italy.
But the enthusiastic Bernese DJ doesn't just rest on his laurels. He also regularly produces his own singles like the remake of Men at Work's "Down Under 2002" @ Harem/Zeitgeist, "Voyage" @ Harem/Aqualoop, "Colours", "Oasis 2002" with Torsten Stenzel, "Nightingale", "Never talk to Aliens", "Mindmachine" or the hit on Netrecord-Z (unfortunately not on the market anymore), "On-y-va" with DJ Tandu. Furthermore, he also made a remix for Yves Deruyter's "Rhythmic Bazzline" and B-Voice "Eternity". From 1997 to 2000 he produced together with the German star producer Torsten Stenzel (Taucher, York, Sakin & Friends). Since 2000 he works with the also very popular trance producer Ralf Fridge (Komakino, Vectrex). Mind-X produced with Torsten Stenzel and DJ Buzz for Energy 1998 a tribute for the rave ("Temple of Love" / Fog Area). The following single "Never talk to Aliens" became the anthem of the New Year's party "Evolution 7" and reached position 35 on the German Dance Charts. Since spring 2002, the label "Planet Love Records" was brought back to life and will produce wonderful trance songs for clubs under the motto "back to quality". Parallel to his solo tracks, Mind-X launched two further successful projects: KARUMA (Netrecord-Z/BPM/Platipus) with DJ Tandu aka AYLA and HAREM DOCTORS with Ray Boyé. Both were big international club successors and brought him credibility at home and abroad. The project A-N-A "Escucha", also produced together with Torsten Stenzel, was acknowledged mostly in France and Spain.
After already being voted as most popular and best DJ in 1999-2000 (Partysan and Vakum Switzerland), Mind-X was also honored this in 2001. He also won the Ericsson Dance Award 2000/2001 for most popular and best Swiss club trance DJ. Since January 2001 he opened his own club, GATE ONE, at the legendary Bernese "Stufenbau". Besides the various music programs (trance, techno, progressive, house, UK garage and hardcore), his Harem Label Nights also occur on a regular basis.
Further to various mix CDs like "Streetparade '96 - Live Mix", "Friendship" (with DJ Snowman), "Trancesetters", "Goliath 3 - Live" or "Harem Phuture Traxx - Vol. 1", DJ Mind-X also began with the compilation of his own albums. After "Inspirations", "Sensitive" and "Colours of Life", which all reached Peak # Top 20 on the Compilation Charts, he reached Peak # 8 with the versus project with DJ Noise ("Nightrockers") on the Swiss Media Control Charts. Since 1999 he also mixes the yearly CD for the biggest and most popular dance open air event in Switzerland, "MOTION". This year his CD reached position 3 on the Sampler Charts and stayed there over two weeks. His biggest success until then was the compilation and mixing of the Streetparade 2001 CD. DJ Mind-X earned platinum for over 65,000 sold albums (40,000 are necessary!) and reached pole position # 1 in comparison with Album Charts in Switzerland over six weeks. In autumn 2001 followed his most successful mix album, "Platinum". This club trance product could hold position # 15 over some weeks in the Swiss Album Top 20 and counts as one of the most stable and solid mix albums "trance" of the year 2001 in Switzerland.

I know I say that on every
Song but who gives one?
Every nigga the same, I feel everything dumb
Feel like I should be praised
By everyone under the sun
Shit ain't that sweet
And I do this for love
Say that my shit tough
Multiple reason, hoes be like I'm teasing
It's niggas be like I'm decent
While they shit's like the weakest
Aight, whatever, I'm just in a living room
Brainstorming about everything to
A different tune
Nah, to be exact, I'm driving
Feeling like the coolest of
The world inside it
Got a couple girls curious about my privates
But I'm just adjust, on a MacBook
They asking me to Skype so they
Can see how my sack look
So when I blow the fuck up they
Can see how a stack look
Fuck all that, I just want the chance
To make reality out of the dreams
And all the visions inside my head
Are working lights
I wanna give you visions of the lights
And all the colours you like
I don't have the slightest idea
Of why I'm here
Cause ain't really liked by my peers
They say the stuff that I'm
Rapping is hella boring
I guess this rap thing ain't for me
Man, what the hell I gotta do? Claim my sets
Spit over some Lex Luger
Talk about shooting Rugers
Or lie bout how I'm drilling, y'all lie
Why lie? Or maybe I should change for y'all
Or maybe I should take it a step far
And say to the rapping Godzillas I'm reptile
Or maybe on time
I might take it even further
And say I'm sixteens I get murdered, SYKE!
I'm Dr jekyll with a hackle like an
Echo through the halls of your mind
My voice alone steady causing the spine
To break to shatters the way the kid flowing
Is decreasing they serotonin
My niggas say they ain't heard
From me in days but aye
I figured you gotta earn money to save it
Hella lost souls'll take a village to raise
I'm thinking if we were slaves
Our chains got reappraised
Puffing on some J whose head is light purple
In Southside Chi loose squares
And tight circles
Fucking with these hoes and
Thinking they might work fuck it
I like hoes in heels and maybe a tight skirt
But if she bash 'fore you dealing with
Grind get to the point
I call her pretty when we killing the time
Bitch, get of your ass and
Go head to the doorknob
I'm doing all of this and you
Can't give me a blowjob?
Yeah, she funny as fuck
That's on a village basing
But if she tryna stirr some shit I
Fuck around and kill this bitch
I fucked her twice when homie ran
About and stole this bitch
Famous and God plays plans of survival
The lyrics to DJ Mind-X's song "Colours" express the rapper's frustration with the music industry and his peers. He acknowledges that he's not like the typical rapper, and that he doesn't conform to the norm. He questions whether he should change his style to fit in, but ultimately decides that he wants to stay true to himself and make music for the love of it, not for fame or recognition.
He also talks about his ambition and dreams, and how he wants to make them a reality. He wants to create music that will not only be visually appealing but also impact the listener by giving them visions of colors and lights. He talks about the struggles of being an artist, such as the pressure to conform to what others consider "hot" or "cool," and the need to constantly create to make a living.
The lyrics also touch on themes of sex, power dynamics, and the struggles of everyday life. He talks about his interactions with women and the desire for physical intimacy, but he also highlights the importance of communication and consent. He acknowledges the difficulty of living in a world where money and power govern everything and where people are often judged by their external appearances.
Overall, the lyrics to "Colours" provide insight into the struggles and pressures faced by an artist in the music industry, and the importance of staying true to yourself and your beliefs.

Tears in my eyes! This music takes me to the far reaches of the universe
@Soraia7silva
This song is in my forbidden “playlist” cuz anytime I play it I get back to 2005 when I had 4/5 years and I remember playing with my dad and dancing, we were so happy, always laughing, and this song reminds me of that cuz we used to listen thosw tracks back in the day and now it’s just a memory that hurts me deeply because I know I wont ever comeback to those years again…
Nowadays I barely see mt father, he’s 51 and i’m 23… 😞 This song makes me travel.
