2. DR (Danmarks radio) is Denmarks national broadcating corporation that (more or less) monopolised radio and tv services in Denmark until 1988. Danmarks Radio comprises five FM/DAB-stations: P1, P2 (classical music and culture), P3 (young people) ,P4 (nine regional stations) and P5. Since 1996 DR has transmitted radio on the Internet, including daily transmissions of Radioavisen (news) and Orientering (current affairs magazine). In 1999 DR introduced a new activity, DR Classical (with P2 and other classical music around the clock), which is accessible via satellite dish reception or cable and on the Internet. DR also offers 26 radio channels on DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and the Internet.

2006 saw DR release 2 special edition digital singles: Still Got Time (as propped by the likes of Judge Jules, Eddie Temple-Morris and James Hyman) back in February, followed by the hook-laden, sparkly Circus in June. In addition, DR capped off a busy summer DJing live backstage at the Reading Festival with the likes of The Fratellis, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Dirty Pretty Things and many more.
Always ones to set trends, DR partnered with pioneering film director Chris Newberry who has supplied an award winning short film to feature as the accompanying video to the Circus single (you can still check it out at: www.drmusic.co.uk).

With their previous projects getting plays from the likes of Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, DJ Sneak and Groove Armada, DR are veterans of dirty dance beats that get the crowds foaming at the mouth for more. With their 80Ìs-style synth line and dirty bass, DR have been said to sound like the outcome of a dirty one night stand between the Scissor Sisters and Mylo.

They wanted us to feel that way and I guess that’s what the song is about. Ending of something and allowing yourself to sit in the lingering feeling of past love and realizing that it did end, it’s time to move on.
