Da'Ville enjoyed singing so much that he knew from an early age that music would be at the forefront of his career goals. "I once thought that I would become an accountant or a manager for a large corporation, but music influenced me so much that I felt a sense of satisfaction using it as a medium to express my life experiences. In the end, my music became my greatest influence, passion and joy."
After teaming up with the other members of what became known as ARP, they began creating quite a buzz for themselves within the Jamaican reggae dancehall space. Eventually, Da'Ville decided it was time to go solo. In 2001 he signed with Penthouse Records under the management of Donovan Germaine. Here he recorded hit singles such as: "Love Will Show Me the Way,"Cruzin,"My Ego," and "All My Life," which he recorded with then label mate, Marcia Griffiths. "All My Life," was nominated in the 2001 Reggae Soca Awards.
Since leaving Penthouse Records, Da'Ville has continued to create quite an impressive resume. He has recently released a hot new single titled "Can't get over you," on the Fashozy Records label which is catching everyone's attention. This song definitely has the potential to become a number one hit.
His resume includes other hit singles such as: "Gallis," "This is the Feeling," "Banana," "The one for me," and the latest chart topping hits: "Hey Baby," and "In Heaven." Da'Ville's versatility with music allows him to create cool lovers lyrics while still competing in the fast paced world of dancehall. Performing in front of thousands at the Sting Reggae Festival in 2003 and a year later at the Reggae Summer fest in his native Jamaica has seen him sharing stage with Sean Paul, Lady Saw and Bounty Killer.
Da'Ville has also toured parts of Japan and the U.S.A. He is a great singer with his own lover's lyrics and dancehall style that reaches across a broad musical audience. Da'Ville's unique style definitely commands and has converted a whole platoon of fans.
Aside from his vocal abilities, Da'Ville is a great songwriter, composer and producer. He has written most of his songs and has produced several of his singles on the NAP Musiq and Fashozy Record Labels. Da'Ville adds to his credits several music videos and special appearances in television commercials.

Oh yea-eah
Hmmmm... Oh yeah, yeah
Hmmmm... Hmmm
Yeah (yeah)
Girl you said to me
That you would never go
Girl I know sometimes I can do foolish things
When I called to say I'm sorry
You're never listening
Baby don't you see that
When I said I loved you
Don't believe that
Can you see you were meant for me
Baby you were sent from above for me
Oh and if I ever made you cry
Baby please dry your eyes
Don't want it to end this way
Baby please don't go!
Hold me now
And let your loving grow for me now
Baby
Hold me now
And let your loving flow for me now
Yeeeaahh
Keep telling me you wanna go
Friends telling me you gotta leave baby
What about all the promises you made
When you swore that you'd never leave me
Grab her stuff, she's walking out the door
By now I'm on my knees for sure
I'm crying baby please don't go
She's closing the dooooor
Hold me now
And let your loving grow for me now
Baby
Hold me now
And let your loving flow for me now
Yeeeaahh
Girl you left with a part of me
And in my heart baby
There's still a place for you
Without your loving girl
I don't know what I'd do
That's why my baby boo
This I ask of you
Hold me now
And let your loving grow for me now
Baby
Hold me now
And let your loving flow for me now
Yeeeaahh
Hold me now
And let your loving grow for me now
Baby
Hold me now
And let your loving flow for me now
Hold me now
And let your loving grow for me now
Baby
Hold me now
And let your loving flow for me now
The lyrics to Da'Ville's song Hold Me Now speak about the desperation and heartbreak that is felt when a relationship is on the verge of ending. The singer voices his plea to his partner not to leave him, and expresses regret over his past mistakes. He reminds her of the love that they shared and the promises they made to each other, and begs her to stay.
The chorus of the song, which is repeated throughout, is a request for his partner to hold him now and let her loving grow and flow for him. He is desperately reaching out to her for comfort, love, and a chance to make things right between them. The song is filled with emotion, as the singer's voice rises and falls, reflecting the intensity of the situation. The lyrics are relatable to anyone who has experienced the pain of a broken relationship and the fear of losing someone they love.
Overall, Hold Me Now by Da'Ville is a moving and heart-wrenching song about the fragility of love and relationships, and the lengths that people will go to hold onto what they cherish.
