1) Rhett Whatley, aka Daily Bread, started producing beats from his bedroom in 2014 armed with an MPC, a massive record collection, and a background in jazz guitar. His beat head sensibilities found him crafting unique electro-soul and hip hop tracks that needed to be heard.
After releasing a few tracks online, the project was quickly noticed by the Philos crew, and he soon joined the ranks of several like-minded artists. Inspired by their collaborations, Rhett began work in earnest on his double LP masterwork “On the Daily” and found himself sharing the stage with his influences like Pretty Lights, GriZ, and The Floozies.
Releasing “On the Daily” on Philos in February 2017, Rhett took the Daily Bread project to the Rocky Mountains and spent half the year in Denver soaking up all the electro-soul hub had to offer. Now back in ATL and fresh off the 1 million Spotify plays milestone of his last release “Moreland Ave Blues”, Rhett is using his freshly honed skills to further the Daily Bread sound and bring his unique vision to ears across the globe.
2) Daily Bread, hailing from the northern Netherlands, played 'SEXY GARAGE DANCE'. Freesonica put it this way: “... an exhilarating combination of the raw energy of 60s Garage Rock, the recalcitrant attitude of the Dutch Indie scene and Electro dance grooves”.
Daily Bread was Kimberly van der Velden (leadvocals), Atser Damsma (synths and vocals), Chris Mulder (bass, synths and vocals) and Stefan Stoer (drums). They were based in The Netherlands, with roots in the provinces of Friesland and Flevoland.
The band released two full-length albums: Well, You're Not Invited (2009) and Iterum (2012) plus one EP, a prequel to the second long player, entitled The Present (2012).
The band's début album was released internationally. Daily Bread played major Dutch festivals, including Noorderslag/Eurosonic (three times!) and Lowlands.
In January 2014 the band decided to call it quits.
3) Daily Bread is the house band for New Creation Church in San Jose, California.
Driven by Colby Pollard, the band featuring Charlie Parker, Jay Everson, & Eric Everson, among many others, released their first CD in August 2012.

And I'm waiting for the moment to come, where you get in too
It feels like if, it feels like if
You're dismayed to
Dream on in, dream on in
The scene I'm running through
These waters are moving along, I'm moving on too
Face hardship, face hardship
We have to slide through
To climb higher, move faster
We have to ensue
Cause I need your love
And I need your spiral senses for us
And I feel your love, but you're holding on, you're counting on the gush
And I need your love, to light upon
The stream we're floating on
These waters are moving along, I'm moving on too
And I'm waiting for the moment to come, where you get in too
It feels like if, it feels like if
You're dismayed to
Dream on in, dream on in
The scene I'm running through
Cause I need your love
And I need your spiral senses for us
And I feel your love, but you're holding on, you're counting on the gush
And I need your love, to light upon
The stream we're floating on
Cause I need your love
And I need your spiral senses for us
And I feel your love, but you're holding on, you're counting on the gush
And I need your love, to light upon
The stream we're floating on
The stream we're floating on
The song "The River" by Daily Bread is a contemplative piece about the journey of life and the importance of love and connection along the way. The lyrics depict the image of a river, symbolizing the ever-flowing movement of time, and the singer's willingness to go with the flow and wait for their loved one to join them on this journey. The opening lines, "These waters are moving along, I'm moving on too, And I'm waiting for the moment to come, where you get in too" convey the sense of a journey that is shared by two people, with one waiting for the other to join them.
The lyrics go on to describe the challenges that the journey presents and how difficult choices need to be made along the way. "Deep waters are there to reveal, we have to choose to, Face hardship, face hardship, We have to slide through, To climb higher, move faster, We have to ensue" reflect the hardships that come with going through life and how they shape us, forcing us to grow and evolve.
The chorus repeats the need for love and connection, with the singer acknowledging that their loved one is holding back and waiting for something big to happen, while they just need the everyday moments of love and understanding. "And I feel your love, but you're holding on, you're counting on the gush, And I need your love, to light upon, The stream we're floating on." The song ends on a hopeful note, with the singer repeating the need for love and understanding, and the shared journey that they are on with their loved one.

This was a very good band! I have seen them play in Hedon Zwolle in 2008/2009 I think. They where really nice! It is a long time ago, but I remember that I liked them very much. This song is also very good! The singer is very unique and the vibe of this song works strong! It was also very nice to hear them on national radio. This videoclip is also very cool! The parts where those people jumping is very fascinating! It kept me wonder what will happen next!
