Over and over it's never enough
Every moment I see you it's always the same
Over and over it is starting again
Every time I see your face
Sends my senses into space
Every time I hear your name
That's when love rushes through my veins
Every moment I feel like I'm falling in love
Over and over it's never enough
Every moment I see you it's always the same
Over and over it is starting again
Every time I see your face
Sends my senses into space
Every time I hear your name
Makes me feel so alive
That's when love rushes through my veins
Every moment I feel like I'm falling in love
Every moment I feel like I'm falling in love
Over and over it's never enough
Every time I see your face
Sends my senses into space
Every time I hear your name
Makes me feel so alive
That's when love rushes through my veins
Every moment I feel like I'm falling in love
Over and over it's never enough
Every moment I see you it's always the same
Over and over it is starting again
Every time I see your face
Sends my senses into space
Every time I hear your name
Makes me feel so alive
That's when love rushes through my veins
The lyrics to Dave Pearce's song "Everyday" are about the intensity and excitement of falling in love. The singer expresses how every time they see the person they love, they feel like they are falling in love all over again. The repetition of the phrase "over and over it's never enough" shows how the singer can't get enough of their loved one and is constantly craving more. They mention the way their thoughts and senses are heightened by the presence of their loved one, with their face and name having a powerful effect on them. The final line "that's when love rushes through my veins" captures the feeling of being overwhelmed and consumed by love.
The overall message of the song is one of intensity and passion. It speaks to the feeling of being completely enraptured by someone, and the desire to hold onto that feeling forever. The use of repetition in the lyrics emphasises this sense of being unable to get enough of the person you love and always wanting more.
