In David Archuleta's "Crush," the singer describes the overwhelming feeling of crushing on someone who he isn't sure reciprocates his feelings. He hangs up the phone with the person and feels something deep inside for the first time. The possibility that this person might feel the same way about him sends him on a rush. However, he struggles with running away from the truth and acknowledges that all he ever thinks about is the person he's crushing on. He's hypnotized and wants to know if they ever think about him too when they're alone.
