David LaMotte Lyrics

I've been straining for the sound
My head is full of voices
I've been trying to write them down
I've been walking â??round in circles
Looking for the perfect way
I make it all so complicated
But all I really want to say (is)
I miss you
All these faces looking at me
Like there's something I should do
I want to make it count for something
I want to offer them what's true (but)
I miss you
Four lanes of highway in Atlanta
Looks like sheet music from above
I'll play my note in this sonata
Then I'll be resting in your love (â??cause)
I miss you
In the song "Miss You" by David LaMotte, the singer is sharing their struggle to express their feelings through words. They feel like they have so much to say, but they cannot seem to find the right words to convey their emotions. The singer feels like they are constantly searching for the perfect way to say what they feel, but it ends up making everything more complicated. The chorus of the song repeats the line "I miss you," which represents the central emotion that the singer is trying to communicate.
The singer describes being surrounded by people, but still feeling alone in their thoughts. They want to use their talents to help people and offer them something true, but they are limited by their inability to express themselves. Even though they spend time trying to come up with the right words, they still feel like something is missing. They eventually compare the chaos of their thoughts to the complex structure of an orchestra, with the singer playing their note and then finding comfort in the love they miss from a particular person.
Overall, "Miss You" conveys the raw emotions of someone struggling to express themselves. The song is about the difficulty of articulating one's feelings and the search for connection and understanding.
